Ahhhhh.

2021.

You were so sweet.

You were the year of the football playoffs and high school graduation and one of the best hair days I’ve ever had and taking virtual trips from sea to shining sea.

I am going to miss you.

Truly.

I don’t really want to break up, but you see—I’ve got a new boyfriend now. His name is 2022 and he’s an even number and handsome and good-looking and funny and he’s already sent me a bunch of presents and promises of all the incredible that is to come.

We have so many plans and things we are working (and have already finished this year) like the bedroom before and after.

So in case you were excited about this new year, too, here are a few project ideas and inspiration.

Here are 25 ways to update your home in 2022.

This is one of the easiest projects you can finish in a weekend—the mini barn door that we have in our laundry room.

This is one of my favorite DIY’s we did at the house.
