Do you love Target as much as interior designer Julie Khuu does? She loves Target for its timeless furnishings, designer collaborations, and budget-friendly pieces to help elevate any room. She found over 40 different high-end Target items that look way more expensive than they really are.

Here’s why Julie thinks some of the best Target products look especially sophisticated:

Accent chairs and ottomans

She points out the sculptural shape and elegant colors of Target’s accent chairs and ottomans, especially from the Threshold/Studio McGee collection. She spotted Target’s unique shearling and wood chair and ottoman choices are perfect for a room with mid-century modern decor–especially the one she found for $100 (Cicely Waterfall) at Target but has seen designer dupes for over $500 elsewhere.

Benches

For a beautiful addition to a room, consider Target’s benches made from seagrass or upholstered in shearling. Use benches for extra seating in the dining or living room as well as in the entryway.

Casegoods

Target’s selection of upscale-looking dining, cocktail, and side tables, cabinets, console tables, and TV stands can’t be beaten. Julie points out the beauty of the detailing, the mix of finishes, and the style of each piece that mimics designer dupes from elsewhere for triple the cost.

Accessories

Target is known for its modern, upscale-looking storage baskets, trays, lamps, blankets, mirrors, and accent rugs and Julie’s found the best of the best. She points out the clean, crisp lines, styles, and neutral colors of chic Target products.

Her favorites? The neutral accent rugs and the sculptural wood or metal mirrors from the Threshold collection. Julie found a metal curved-top mirror for $75 and says she sourced a similar item for a client for $800, no joke!

High-end Target products

Julie says she would not hesitate to use any of these high-end Target pieces in her home because of their look, durability, and price. And, she’s most impressed with the neutral colors that will elevate a room.

Do you have a Target piece you absolutely love and want to share?
