Coupon Stockpile Organization: How to Organize Your Linen Closet

Today I am doing an organizing post. My linen closet holds many of my coupon hauls. It's pretty contained, for the most part, but the current bins that I bought from Dollar Tree weren't ideal. When I pick a bin up, everything comes tumbling forward, which isn't practical.

Let's go ahead and get organized!

Shampoo and conditioner

1. Shampoo and conditioner organizing

I want to mention a deal that happens quite frequently at CVS: The Suave Professional Shampoo and Conditioner will go on sale at 2 for $6.

In the Sunday paper, which you can get at Dollar Tree, they'll have a $3 off coupon, which knocks it down to $3. If you have a CVS rewards card, which is free to sign up for, you scan it, and they'll have $2 off when you purchase two, so it knocks it down to a dollar. So you're only paying $0.50 each.

As I mentioned, this happens quite frequently. So that's how I can stock up and get these for $0.50 each.

Bin filled with shampoo and conditioner bottles

I picked up this white locker bin from Dollar Tree and I'm using it to contain my shampoo and conditioner.

They are enclosed, so the stuff inside them won't fall over. It looks much better and is less wide, so I'll have more room in my linen closet and fit everything perfectly.

If you want to be extra, Dollar Tree sells little tags, so you can wrap them around the bin and then label things like shampoo and conditioners.

2. Nail product organization

I picked up a white basket from Dollar Trees to store all my nail polishes. I still have quite a bit of room left, but I will leave it like that for now.

Dollar Tree organization

I used another white locker bin for organizing all my fake nails, nail polish, and nail polish remover.

During quarantine, I was using Dollar Tree nails. They will sometimes last up to a week; just have good nail glue. I highly recommend these if you're in a pinch for doing your nails. I'm just going to put them all in the basket.

Dollar Tree has some pretty cute designs. It comes with nail glue, but it doesn't work well. I would invest in a good nail glue of your choice.

The basket managed to fit all my fake nails perfectly. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Coupon stockpile: A bin filled with razors

3. Couponing bin

In another bin I bought, I decided to store all my random couponing products, like razors. I just emptied all my couponing purchases into this bin and it all fit perfectly.

4. Miscellaneous bin

I used another white locker bin for the miscellaneous stuff like skincare products, deodorants, and masks. Let's chat about some of the items I have in this bin.

The roll-on deodorants in this bin were purchased with coupons. These are super easy to coupon at CVS and Walgreens. Usually, they have the same deal in the same week.

I love purchasing soap savers at Walmart. I buy them at the regular price, which is $2. I wash all my makeup brushes after each use with just a regular bar of soap and kind of swirl it around and put it on here. It prevents your sink from getting all messy with that soap residue.

I found Freeman's face masks in a two-pack, so I bought them to have on hand. I like the water gel mask and it's also an excellent filler for Easter baskets or other gift baskets.

I get free items from Bath and Bodyworks that I put in this bin. You have to sign up with them and you get the trial-size items for free.

Adding to the miscellaneous bin is a blush and bronzer set as well as an eyeshadow palette. I got these with an Etsy subscription. I will be giving them away as gifts.

This bin was a perfect fit for all my miscellaneous things.

Tip: If you have extra coupons or buy two Sunday papers, check out digital coupons. Sometimes I don't even buy the Sunday paper because there are digital coupons I can use. I can usually get them for a dollar or two.

Organized bins in a closet

This is the final look; I liked how it turned out because it looks a lot more uniform. Everything is easy to find and reach and nothing falls out as it did before.

Organizing my coupon stockpile was very affordable. It was only $4 to do, and it looks so much nicer.

That is it for today's coupon stockpile organization. I hope you were inspired to organize one part of your home.

I’ve done that in the bathroom drawers. How about the linen closet. How many sets of sheets or towels do I need to keep the linen closet tidy?
