Easy Kitchen Hacks for a Tidy Space

Simplifying your kitchen is an easy task for some, but for others, not so much.

Thankfully, Kallie Branciforte has you covered if you’re one of those people who happen to fall in that second category.

And, today, she’s showing you all the kitchen hacks you need in order to get your kitchen as tidy and functional as possible.

Some of the kitchen organization hacks Kallie recommends include paying close attention to your countertops and clearing them off regularly, making the most of the kitchen storage solutions you already own like cabinets, drawers, and hooks. You should also put away small appliances whenever you’re not using them.

Other kitchen organization hacks that she swears by are eliminating things you don’t actually need—especially those ubiquitous kitchen gadgets everyone seems to own but never use—and storing any tools, small appliances, or pans you don’t need everyday in an overflow space like your basement.

Kallie also says to implement small kitchen hacks like removing excess packaging from products, which is also known as decanting, and using purchased storage solutions to organize your pantry space.

Not only does it make this area more efficient, it also makes it look cleaner and nicer too.

Next, Kallie reminds you to remember the purpose of your kitchen. As the hub of the home, many activities take place there than just cooking and eating.

So consider everything you do in this space, such as arts and crafts, opening your mail, and gathering tools for a small home improvement project, as you come up with a plan to simplify your kitchen.

Once you have that figured out, it’s time to purchase some new items. Drawer dividers fit well in kitchen drawers to maximize storage as do lazy Susans.

Clear bins are also a must-have when it comes to the kitchen hacks Kallie loves.
