Sometimes, it can feel like our cars are our second homes. We spend so much time shuttling back and forth to different places in our cars. Consequently, our cars can also fill up with so much junk and trash.

Is it possible to keep our cars organized and stocked with essentials? Linda from LGQueen Home Decor shows off her car organization hacks.

The first step to restocking, decluttering, and organizing your vehicle is to give it a good clean. Take out everything from the car that doesn’t belong. Vacuum down all surfaces. Removable containers and holders can often be washed in the kitchen sink.

Next, wipe everything clean. This includes all surfaces: the mirrors, the floors, the dashboard, the doors, and any other car surfaces. You can use sticky dust cleaning gel for the air conditioning vents.

After the car is clean, it’s time to organize it. Put all sorts of car organizers and containers in that will help you keep the vehicle tidy. Some examples that may be helpful include car trash cans, coin purses, between-seat organizers, hanging bars for the seat backs, car backseat organizers, and clip-on trash can.

Now, it’s time to restock. Pack the car with essentials. You can use neat little car organizers to store baby supplies if you travel with your children frequently.

Plastic cases are a great way to hold other essentials like snacks, gum, first aid, electronics, toiletries, cleaning sprays, hand cream, hair ties, masks, writing supplies, trash bags, water bottles, and an auto emergency kit. One easy car organization hack is to use a Cricut to make labels for all your organizers.
