My Quick and Easy Dollar Tree Organization Hacks

If you want to make the most of your storage, I have some great tips for you. Here are the very best Dollar Tree organization ideas that will help you maximize your vertical space. Let’s get started!

Get a couple of these long flower pots at Dollar Tree, as well as a couple of long metallic trays which fit on top of those perfectly, making them great for hidden storage.

In the bathroom, these can be used to hold extra soaps and tissue packets and be hidden on top of your cabinet. It just fades into the cabinets, and no one will notice it, but you will be able to easily access it whenever you need. And the best part is - it costs under $5.

If you want those to look even better, glue some Styrofoam on top and camouflage it with some faux greenery. Now this container looks like a plant which will only make your space prettier and more relaxing.

I am going to put all of my extra full-size bottles of spices in there, and put it on top of a shelf in my kitchen, and in the living room it will go on my windowsill, filled with dog treats.

Rectangular trays are a hidden gem, too. These are great for two-tier décor: just glue a candlestick in the middle. They also come in seasonal patterns, so you could easily turn them into an easy gift or a cool party display.

You can find these scalloped containers in the party section, together with these bowls that come two to a pack. They are not the sturdiest, but work great to serve dips.

Just fill the big container with ice and set the little bowl on top with the dip. It looks beautiful, and will keep that dip chilled for a long time.

However, entertaining is not the only use for this idea. Bring one into your bathroom to store your oblong items like lipsticks in the bottom and your bulkier or round items like eyeshadows or blush in the bowl on top.

This takes up little space, looks tidy and pretty, and will help you organize all of that bathroom mess.

The same concept can be used in your hobby or crafts space. I decided to divide my decorative tape by the big thick rolls on top and the skinny rolls on the bottom. It makes it so easy to access all the rolls, and I can see exactly what I have.

If you want an even more visually appealing storage and organization option, turn both these pieces over and hot glue that bowl as a base to the larger container.

You can use this for a candy bar or a party display, or alternatively for office or craft room organization, or even in your bathroom.

Dollar Tree recently came out with these loose eye containers with a rose gold bottom. Buy a larger oblong one and a square one, and you can stack them inside each other.

I used acrylic shot glasses to the bottom of the smaller container and turned it into a second tier in the larger one. This makes a fun organizer for office supplies and for makeup.

Stacking organization is so versatile, I now want to use it with everything. Try stacking acrylic bowls and serving trays, as well as these deviled egg holders and these larger bowls.

You could use this to organize scarves and jewelry, for example. If you are looking for a fun way to store light garden supplies like gloves, tape and twine, you could use several pots with trays underneath them.

These clear boxes can be found in the kids section for cars and Legos, but I use them for everything. They also offer a black option now, so get that for things you do not want seen.

Acrylic trays from Dollar Tree fit some of their containers so well they can serve as their lids.

The locker style containers are amazing quality for their price, and with those trays they can be stacked to make the most of that vertical space for back stock items that you do not need to get to very frequently.

If you are throwing a party but do not want to spend a lot on décor, get two colored trays and a seasonal plastic glass, and you have a really whimsical little décor for under $5.

You can do the same thing with the bowls and champagne glasses to create either an organization tower or a party item.

If you are working on organizing your drawers or closet, make the stacking drawer organizer with some foam core from Dollar Tree as well as a package of their acrylic clear cups.

Cut the foam core to fit and glue those cups on so that they are touching. Making two tiers can be great to organize underwear and socks.

For lighter weight objects like paper goods or florals, hot glue cordial cups to the bottom of a cat pan, and then stack a couple of those.

Dollar Tree organization

Get this $3 tackle box to organize jewelry. You can take the dividers in and out, and they stack on top of each other to fit in your drawer.

Dollar Tree organization

If your car’s glove box is a disaster, get these doll caddies and label them. These containers are the perfect shape and size to stack in your glove box.

Dollar Tree organization

Make a stacking organizer for condiments and all kinds of lunchbox items with these clear acrylic drawers. You can glue these one on top of each other as high as you need them to go and they store perfectly in cabinets.

Dollar Tree organization

Spray paint these wicker look baskets from the Dollar Tree Plus section and use them in your bookshelf for hidden storage.

If you have an awkward closet space or just no room for a dresser, pick up a hanging organizer from the Dollar Tree Plus section with several basins.

Dollar Tree is full of stackable containers. I recommend that you measure the dimensions of the space you are trying to fill and take those to the store with you. You will find a container that stacks and makes the very most of your cabinet space.
