30 Money-Saving Dollar Tree Secrets That Only Insiders Know

You may think you have seen everything Dollar Tree has to offer, but there are Dollar Tree secrets you might have missed. We’re taking a tour of some of the surprising finds, and also some clever hacks to get more bang for your buck. You never know what you might find.

You already know about convenient over-the-door hooks. A newer vertical hanging option is the mop and broom hooks. You can hang them with the adhesive that’s on the back making them renter-friendly, or you can use the holes to nail them into the wall. The rubber grips are super strong, so mops and brooms are not going anywhere.

Check for organization items outside the organization aisle. It can be hard to find neutral-colored storage bins. Check out the kitchen section where they have white and black dish bins. They’re bigger than the organizing bins but work just as well.

The mixing bowl with a handle and pour spout is a game-changer. It also has rubber grips at the bottom so it doesn’t slide around while you’re mixing. If you try to find something similar anywhere else it will be almost four times the price.

Cleaning supplies

Another great find for cleaning is actually found in the tool section. It’s meant to be a car wash mitt, but it’s perfect for dusting. When you think outside the box you can find so many unintended uses for Dollar Tree gems.

Dollar Tree secrets

From larger mesh bags, great for storing toys, to small mesh laundry bags for protecting your delicates, there are so many overlooked items at Dollar Tree.

The glassware looks like something you’d buy at a high-end store and the gardening tools could have come from a hardware store. Dollar Tree is full of secrets and surprises.

The small rectangle containers with lid ( like lock and lock) are the perfect size to store playing cards, crayons, and soap bars with no leakage. Me daughter uses one to keep nuts and dry fruit or candy in her purse for snack. Our dollar tree is much smaller than the one shown so I have never seen the rope plant hangers and several other items there.
