Easy Thanksgiving Leftover Sliders

Hey everyone, welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If your fridge is still packed with leftovers and you’re wondering what to do with them, here’s one of my favorite and easiest ideas — Thanksgiving sliders!

These little sandwiches combine all your holiday favorites — turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing — tucked into soft Hawaiian rolls and baked until golden and buttery. Let’s make them together.

What you’ll need

Leftovers:

  • Cooked turkey (shredded or sliced)
  • Stuffing or dressing
  • Cranberry sauce

Additional ingredients:

  • 1 package of Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Make the butter glaze

1. Make the butter glaze

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Stir in: 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon dried minced onion, 1 teaspoon poppy seeds. Mix well and set aside — this will go over the tops of the sliders before baking.

Mix the cranberry sauce

2. Mix the cranberry sauce

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of cranberry sauce with about 1½ teaspoons Dijon mustard. Stir until well mixed and set aside. (The Dijon adds a little tang and helps balance the sweetness.)

Assemble the sliders

3. Assemble the sliders

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom connected if possible. Place the bottom half in a baking dish. Spread an even layer of stuffing over the bottom. Add a generous layer of turkey. Spoon the cranberry-Dijon mixture evenly over the top. Place the top half of the rolls back on.

Pour over the butter glaze

4. Add the butter glaze

Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls, making sure to coat every bit for that golden, flavorful finish.

Bake the turkey sliders

5. Bake

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the tops are lightly browned and everything is warmed through.

6. Serve and enjoy

Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before cutting them apart. Then dig in! They’re buttery, savory, slightly sweet — basically Thanksgiving on a roll.

These are perfect for lunch the day after Thanksgiving, or to bring along if you’re visiting friends and family that weekend.

Tip: If you don’t have all the leftovers listed, use what you do have — mashed potatoes or green bean casserole can also work as fun add-ins!

That’s it! A super simple, delicious way to repurpose your Thanksgiving leftovers. If you make this, let me know what you think or if you have any other ideas for using leftovers! See you next time — and happy snacking!
