3 Delicious Camping Meal Ideas

We’re traveling in our RV and I want to show you how I made some amazing camping meals. I’m going to tell you what I made for breakfast lunch and dinner and how I made it.

These are easy, budget-friendly meals that anyone can make. Whether you’re on the road like us, or just preparing food at home, you will love these meals.

Pumpkin spice French toast

1. Pumpkin spice French toast

Take out a mixing bowl and throw in ½ a cup of pumpkin puree. Then add 3 eggs and ¾ cup of milk. Add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.

Dip your bread into the mixture. Butter up your skillet and heat it on the stove. Place the soaked bread on the frying pan and fry it up just like regular French toast. Serve it with some maple syrup.

Pizza bubble-up

2. Pizza bubble-up

I’m going to use an electric stove with a cover for the pizza bubble-up. I prefer to do it this way because using the oven really heats up the entire RV.

For the pizza bubble-up you’re going to need a can of biscuits, a small can of tomato sauce, pepperoni, and shredded cheese. You can add any other toppings you like.

Take out your biscuits and cut them up into pieces and put them in a bowl. Throw in the entire bag of shredded cheese.

Cut up your pepperoni and toss that into the bowl as well. Then pour in the can of tomato sauce. Mix all the ingredients together.

Spray your pan with olive oil and pour your mixture into the pan. Turn the flame to medium heat. Put the lid on your pan and leave it to cook for about 20 minutes.

This is so simple to make and it is absolutely delicious. My kids loved it. It can also be prepared in a 350 degree oven if you prefer that to the stove.

Hot dog-shaped hamburgers stuffed with cheese

3. Hot dog-shaped hamburgers stuffed with cheese

Since the campsite we’re staying at doesn’t allow outdoor cooking I decided to use my air fryer and my electric stove with the cover. I made some pre-cut and packaged French fries in the air fryer.

To make hot dog shaped hamburgers stuffed with cheese you will need chop meat and cheddar cheese sticks. Take a chunk of chopped meat that is about the same amount you would use for a hamburger.

Roll it into a ball and then flatten it out into a long oval shape. Then put the cheese stick in the middle and wrap the meat around it. I prepared 5 sticks for my family of 5. Sprinkle some salt and pepper over the top.

Put your meat sticks on the skillet. Cover it with the lid and let it cook for a few minutes. Then take off the lid, flip the meat sticks over, and cook them for another few minutes until they are done.

My kids loved the finished product. This was a very successful meal!
