The use of vasiline on anything other thanks a lubrication, can result in dust and dirt accumulating to keep things looking, well, dirty. As a petroleum product, it should never be used in place of a good coat of paint OR (Ta-Daaa) wax. It washes away to quickly and puts petroleum vy products in/on the ground or concrete. Not a good "hack" for this item, but thanks. BTW my wife used it to cure toe fungus. It worked.

Hi! I had to laugh when I read about the toe fungus. It’s good to know! But, I could hear your wife saying, “What’d you do that for!” and you replying, “They don’t know who you are!” Happy holiday season to you all!
