How to Eat for Free Using Your Phone
Today, I’m going to share my experience of attempting to eat for free using apps on my phone.
In a market rife with competition, there are so many promotional deals that offer free stuff. That’s why I wanted to gather as much information for you guys on places to eat for free.
1. Breakfast
They say it’s the most important meal of the day! For breakfast, I went hunting for some free coffee and breakfast pastries.
Panera offers a free coffee for simply downloading their app on your phone. If you enter your birthday as well, they will give you a free dessert.
I ordered a coffee and a pumpkin muffin for my free dessert. You can check out without owing a dime.
The pumpkin muffin was delicious and the perfect breakfast pastry.
2. Lunch
Every Friday McDonald’s has a promotional deal where they offer free fries.
To get the free fries you do have to order something, anything you like, for $.99.
I ordered a chicken sandwich and got my free fries. I’m convinced that free food tastes better because it’s free.
3. Snack time
When you download the Taco Bell app you get a free reward. They also have free rewards all the time. I got myself a free quesadilla. It was the perfect mid-day snack.
4. Dinner
I decided to go to Walmart to pick up a free dinner for the entire family. When you download the Ibotta app you can get a ton of freebies.
I got a box of Hot Pockets. I also grabbed a pack of Pepperidge Farm goldfish crackers for free.
I was also able to get a can of beans for free. I got a free package of chili hotdogs, a frozen pizza, and a bag of Hershey's Kisses for dessert, all without spending a dime.
The way Ibotta works is you purchase your items and they reimburse you on PayPal. The money usually comes back in less than 24 hours.
I prepared the hot dogs, Hot Pocket and beans for the kids and my husband and I ate the pizza. We snacked on some goldfish crackers and Hershey’s Kisses for dessert.
The Ibotta deals are always changing. It’s definitely worth downloading the app and checking it as frequently as possible.
5. Extra freebies
As you can see, it was pretty easy for me to get an entire day of meals in free food. I also have some other freebie options I wanted to share with you. Moe’s Southwest Grill offers a free queso dip if you download the app and give them your birthday.
Another great deal is from Seven-Eleven. Download the app and sign up for their rewards and you’ll get a ton of offers for freebies. Carvel’s will give you a free ice cream if you download their app and give them your birthday. Chipotle will also give you freebies for downloading their app and giving them your address.
