Why You Should Try Putting Dishwasher Tablet in Shower
Andrea Jean experiments to see if you can use a dishwasher tablet in your shower to help clean water spots. Water spots are a real pain to get off and can make a perfectly clean shower look kind of gross.
Though she did have some luck with a mixture of vinegar and baking soda in past experiments, she wanted to see if she could find something that would be more effective.
She started by wetting the glass with warm water. Then she popped the little red ball out of the dishwasher tablet because that piece was not needed for this.
She took the tablet and scrubbed the glass with it. Then she went back in with a rag soaked in warm water and tried to wipe off the spots. The trick did not work as planned so she moved on to another hack.
She took a dry drier sheet and used it to try wiping off water spots from the faucets. She found that this trick worked pretty well but did require a lot of elbow grease. There were still some remaining water spots too, so she decided to employ another method.
For the final attempt, Andrea Jean used some quad-zero steel wool. She started by using it on the faucets and it worked wonders. Then she moved on to try the steel wool on the glass and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it worked there as well.
Finding the right cleaning products and techniques makes cleaning easier and more efficient. Sometimes we need to experiment a bit and see which hacks actually work.

It was worth checking out the dishwasher tablet method but maybe it’s better that it didn’t work because they are pretty expensive. Steel wool seems to be the way to go.

I use Soft Soap body wash. Don't have spots in my shower!🙂
On a whim, after a vaca last month, a dryer sheet fell next to my chrome kitchen faucet area and got wet. I decided to use it for the gunk around the base of the faucet head and worked great~and left everything nice and shiney.
