    I also make my own laundry soap powder and bisquick mix. I make a whole years worth of laundry soap for $12. The bisquick mix is just flour, solid crisco, salt and baking powder and is shelf stable. I keep homemade sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie dough in the freezer in the shape of a log and slice and bake when needed. I make all our soups homemade and freeze any left overs.
