Take a Tour Inside This Adorable Farmhouse Camper
If you love farmhouse decor you’ll love this van. This farmhouse camper van is the perfect weekend getaway. The bright, fresh farmhouse camper remodel is the creation of Aries Soul Traveller. She grew up on a farm and incorporated childhood-inspired rustic touches to her van conversion.
From vintage appliances to butcher block-style countertops, she created a cozy little farmhouse on wheels. Aries takes us on a tour of her unique farmhouse getaway.
Aries bought an empty van and began to build out the interior, incorporating charming farmhouse details. She found a mini-fridge with a vintage look that she bought from Home Depot to put into her farmhouse kitchen, along with upper cabinets faced with chicken wire.
Other farmhouse camper decor details include a vintage-style radio on the countertop, a farmhouse cabinet with a sliding barn door that she bought at Hobby Lobby, macrame, and straw touches everywhere, and distressed white painted walls, ceilings, and surfaces.
Her storage is located under two built-in lift-up seating benches (with distressed white painted platforms) in which she stores camping gear and more.
On her travels, many people ask Aries how to start van life. She tells everyone to do plenty of research and find someone, such as a carpenter, who is willing to build out the van’s interior.
Aries also recounts how she let her van sit for a while before she got over the fear of camping alone. After installing a dual dash cam, and alarms, and putting other security systems in place, this solo female traveler has never looked back.
