24 Things I Only Own One of as a Nomad Minimalist

This week, it occurred to me that I’ve never shared a list of things that I own only one of.

For someone who focuses on minimalism and intentional living on a daily basis, among all other things, it's kind of a miss on my part.

Keeping a minimalist list of things to own is often helpful for those new to the lifestyle and those who continue to work on it.

So, today, I'm going to share with you 24 things that I own only one of as a nomad minimalist.

Pants

1. Pants

At the moment, I own only one pair of pants. They are by Uniqlo, and they've got a lot of wear on them, but they are the most versatile pants that I've ever had.

Tennis shoes

2. Tennis shoes

I also only have one pair of tennis shoes. In fact, these are the only closed-toed shoes that I have at the moment. They are by Reebok and so far, they have been absolutely great.

Raincoat

3. Raincoat

I have one raincoat that I wear. It's by Rainz brand, and I bought it for a fraction of the original price in an outlet store. It's holding up pretty well after five years of intense use.

Winter jacket

4. Winter jacket

The one winter jacket I own is a super packable, puffy jacket by Uniqlo. It's just perfect for milder winters. It's a down jacket and, if you own one of them, this one is a good choice.

Cardigan

5. Cardigan

I own one cardigan that I bought last year from a Serbian brand called Ivko. I love it! It's very fun, and I haven't washed it yet because it stays fresh for extended periods of time.

Swimsuit

6. Swimsuit

My one swimsuit is black, and I like the fact that it's a one-piece. I don't remember the brand, but as far as I can tell, it is a very popular Belarusian brand.

Sandals

7. Sandals

The one pair of sandals I own are very light, waterproof, and great for walking long distances. They are by Crocs.

Headphones

8. Headphones

My one pair of headphones seems very ancient now because it has a cord, and it’s pretty worn out. It was a gift from my brother, and it's from Sony.

Small bag

9. Small bag

My small bag is by Uniqlo, and it has survived the machine washing. It's just perfect for all of my needs because it's very comfortable and roomy, and it fits my entire wardrobe inside of it.

Backpack

10. Backpack

My backpack is also by Uniqlo, and I bought it from the men's section. It has survived many travel situations and grocery shopping trips. It's very basic, versatile, and sturdy.

Yoga mat

11. Yoga mat

My yoga mat was a gift from Brian a few years ago. It's very thin and travel-friendly. Plus, it holds up amazingly.

Sunglasses

12. Sunglasses

I'm lucky to have a face shape that welcomes any type of sunglasses frame. The one pair that I own are very basic, and I bought them at an outlet store.

Face lotion

13. Face lotion

I have one face lotion by Yves Rocher, and I bought it in Romania for nine dollars. I don't have any skin problems using this cream, even though I have very sensitive, dry, and mature skin.

Cleansing product

14. Cleansing product

By trial and error, I found out that I don't need multiple cleansing products. I'm just fine using micellar water for removing my makeup and for cleansing my skin. The brand I use doesn't matter at all.

Eyeshadow

15. Eyeshadow

I literally have just one shade of eyeshadow, not a palette. It is by Yves Rocher, and I rarely use it on my eyelids. More often I apply it to my eyebrows in order to define them better.

Makeup brush

16. Makeup brush

I don't even remember where I got my one makeup brush from, but I have only one. I use it for eyeshadow, and it has been perfect for my needs.

Mascara

17. Mascara

I have a very basic mascara that I got at a drugstore. The brand is Alverde, but I don't think I will buy it again because I don't like it all that much. Once it’s gone, I’ll try a new brand.

18. Laptop

My laptop is a work tool that I use every day, and the brand is Asus. I hope that it will continue working for years to come. I’ve already had it for about three years.

Tablet

19. Tablet

I have owned my tablet for more than ten years, and it's by Samsung. I think I will declutter it soon though, because I use it very rarely, and it has become more of a just-in-case item.

Camera

20. Camera

My one camera is by Canon, and it has been a game-changer for me. I can see why a lot of content creators love this particular camera.

Ebook reader

21. Ebook reader

My ebook reader is a very simple model without wi-fi or any backlighting. It was a gift from my brother. I use it every day without hurting my eyes because of the e-ink technology and the brand is Pocketbook.

Crafting mat

22. Crafting mat

I won one self-healing crafting mat. I use it for cutting pieces for collages and also for drawing because it helps keep the paper safe from dirt or stains that can appear on a table surface.

Glue stick

23. Glue stick

As I work with paper collages, I need glue. Ideally, I would have several types of glue but, at the moment, I'm fine with having just one.

Measuring tape

24. Measuring tape

I have one measuring tape because you don't need more than one. It has both centimeters and inches on it, and it's very versatile. I also use it for shopping for clothes.

Everything I own as a minimalist

This list of things I only own one of turned out to be much longer than I expected — not as long of a list as everything I own as a minimalist, of course — but I hope you enjoyed it.

If you did, please let me know in the comments section below, and feel free to share what particular things you own only one of yourself.
