How to Get Free Items From Target: 3 Different Hacks

Who does not love free stuff? Today, I have three great life hacks that will help you save money by getting free items from Target. These are three different techniques, so you can choose whatever suits you best. Let’s dive in!

1. Become a reviewer for Target

Target has reviewers - people that get free stuff in exchange for their honest review. They get these items for free in the mail, whether towels, clothes, dishware or anything else, and your job is to review them honestly, and then you get to keep them.

So the next obvious question is like, how do I become a reviewer for Target because I want free stuff from Target? The first thing you need to do is sign up for Bullseye Insiders. There will be customer surveys that you have to take.

Be honest with them. Do not be nice just because you want them to pick you as a reviewer. Do as many as you can, be as active in the Bullseye Insiders community as possible, and sooner or later, they will probably ask you to become a reviewer for them.

Let me make this clear: Bullseye Insiders is not their review program. It is a program where you take quizzes and polls, usually a couple minutes long, for the chance to win a gift card or something.

However, if you are active within that community, they will see that you are going to be a good reviewer, so eventually ask you to become a reviewer for them.

2. Get free Target gift cards

Everyone loves free gift cards, and let me tell you my favorite places to get them. I use these every single day.

- Fetch Rewards. All you have to do is sign up. Use my referral code U8EWC, and when you sign up you are going to get two or three dollars automatically. Sometimes they run a promo and you might get four dollars automatically.

- Instagc.com, which stands for Instant Gift Card. All you have to do is sign up and every couple of days you will get more points and free gift cards. To check out is only one dollar.

- GetMiles.com. This one is a little tricky. When you sign up, at first you are going to get offers which may not be great, but every once in a while they throw you a really awesome gift card. This may be once a month or three to four weeks. The way miles works is it tracks how many miles you walk or drive in the car.

- Swagbucks. This one has been around forever, and it is super trustworthy. I use it all the time, and it is how I pay for everything for Christmas. It is super easy. You just sign up, do some quizzes, watch some videos, and those gift cards add up really, really quick, for absolutely free.

- ShopKicks. You go into stores, check in that you are there, and then you get points, which in turn you can trade in for gift cards. I swear to you, I use all of these all the time. This is a great technique to get free Target gift cards.

3. Contact third party sellers

This is one I have never heard anybody talk about. Unlike Amazon or Walmart, Target does not have third party sellers on their webpage.

However, you can find items at Walmart that are not Walmart products, but were rather purchased by Target in bulk for the purpose of reselling. They would have the name of the third party seller somewhere on them, most often on the bottom.

Once you find an item you are interested in and determine who the third party seller is, you can open their website and contact them directly.

Give them links to your social media, tell them you loved their products and ask whether they have a program that would allow you to get their items for free.

Be prepared that 9 out of 10 sellers will say no right away. However, if you manage to find that tenth one, you are in luck, and it is so worth it.

Notice that Target has its own brands, too, such as Magnolia, or a handful of clothing brands that Target owns. You do not want to contact them because basically you are contacting Target.

Instead, you want to contact other sellers that sell their items at Target. Most often, but not necessarily, you will find these items at their dollar section. Another really good place to check is the seasonal merchandise. Still, make sure to look throughout the store to maximize your chances.
