This two-story tiny house with a balcony is not just a house: it is also a music studio in the middle of a forest. Its owner, Guillaume, describes the tiny house as his life partner. Guillaume appreciates the raw nature surrounding his house and the mobility that the tiny house on wheels allows him.

The interior has a lot of marine elements: Guillaume’s dream is to live in a lighthouse. The kitchen is small but functional, with a lot of storage space.

To get to the second floor, Guillaume uses a ladder, which only opens when the table is folded down. To avoid the need to clear the table completely every time, Guillaume divided the table into two parts, so one can stay open at all times.

The living room is combined with the music studio. Guillaume uses two bean bags as a sofa, which can be converted into a bed. The musical panel is full of instruments; Guillaume laments the impossibility of adding more. The main keyboard slides in and out, creating some extra workspace.

The great view outside inspires Guillaume in his composition. Despite limited space, Guillaume keeps plenty of books, CDs, and DVDs. He also owns a small projector to watch movies on a big screen.

The upstairs is separated into two bedrooms, to allow for guests to sleep over. The bedroom window opens up into the balcony. Guillaume enjoys opening the window at night and listening to the sounds of the forest.

Guillaume says that living in a tiny house is extremely liberating, and this lifestyle fits him perfectly. However, he experiences some trouble making his stay in this house legal, and hopes for policy changes in regard to mobile homes.
