8 Easy Hacks To Get Clothes for Free

Everyone loves free clothes! Today, I have a treat for you.

Here are eight super easy ways to get clothes and accessories for free. I will teach you how to do it step by step, and it will save you hundreds of dollars on clothes. Let’s get started!

Cashback

1. Topps Cashback

Topps Cashback is always the first place I go to when I want to get cash back for my online purchases, because it is not just another cashback site. They always give you the highest percentage back compared to other cashback sites, and on top of that they give you a free $10 when you spend $25 if you are a new user, which is just free money.

Moreover, you can always use a coupon code to get the price down even more. Once you add up all of those savings, you end up with items that are 80-90% off, and sometimes you will even get items for free.

2. Amazon

This is a tip with an asterisk. Back in the day I used to receive free products on Amazon in exchange for reviews.

However, in the last couple of years, things have changed.

This now goes against the Amazon terms of service, and therefore you can no longer get free items in exchange for a review on Amazon without risking completely losing your Amazon account, and at the very least, just losing the ability to leave reviews.

The only exception is if you are part of Amazon's Vine program. In order to get into Amazon's Vine program, you have to leave thousands and thousands of helpful reviews, and then you are very selectively asked if you want to be part of the Vine program.

However, this does not stop thousands and thousands of sellers from still trying to get you to do it. If you are still interested, the way to find these sellers is through hundreds of Amazon groups set up just for this purpose. There, you can request free clothes or accessories in exchange for a review, and they will send it to you.

Remember to never ever pay them, even if they say they will pay you back after you leave a review, as this is most likely a scam. And of course, keep in mind that you are risking your whole Amazon account by doing this.

RebateKey

However, webpages like RebateKey will allow you to buy the item and will then rebate you the money. You are only allowed so many rebates, but it is a great tool.

You do not have to leave reviews and it does not go against Amazon’s terms of service.

3. Direct Ship freebies

The idea of Direct Ship freebies is that you just go online, fill out hundreds of forms and wait. In exchange, you will get random items from Amazon sellers.

Sometimes those will be items of clothing or accessories, but that is obviously not guaranteed, and you never know what you are going to get.

However, I have found that some of the forms are specifically for clothes and accessories, and when I fill those out I usually always get 1 to 10 free clothing and accessories.

4. AliExpress

Just like on Amazon, there is an option to leave reviews and get free stuff on AliExpress, only there it does not go against the terms of service. So go ahead and ask those sellers if they are willing to send you the item for free in order to get a review.

There are also Facebook groups dedicated to free items on AliExpress in exchange for a review. And again, never pay, and never give anybody your personal information.

5. Poshmark.com

This is one of my favorite webpages in the whole world. I have gotten plenty of clothing items for free off Poshmark.com, including multiple pairs of shoes.

By signing up through a referral link, you will get $10 free, and I promise you can find great items on Poshmark for $10 or less. If you want to get free stuff, you will need to gather some patience, find specific items you are interested in, tap on the heart and wait for offers to come in.

To get my Sperry boots, I filtered down all the Sperry boots that I liked under $35 and that were for my size, then liked them, and waited. Sure, they are used, but I made sure that they were good quality and in good condition. From there, I used my referral credits and they were completely free!

The only thing is that if you want to get name brand items, make sure that they are from individual sellers and not mass sellers, since it is really easy for people to sell fraudulent items on Poshmark.

Tradesy

6. Tradesy

This is where I got my Kate Spade purse, and this website is truly a dream for name brand items. If it is a name brand item, it is on there. It is like eBay, but for high end name brands. The best thing about Tradesy is that they authenticate all of the items, so you know you are not getting a fake purse.

Moreover, a referral link will get you $35 off your purchase of $50 or more, plus if you give your referral link to everyone else in the entire world, you get $35 credit. This means that by adding those up you can get a quality name brand item for free!

7. ThredUP

ThredUP also has a really fun referral program. All you have to do is use somebody's referral credit and you get $10 completely free. There are so many fun and some clothes that you can get for under $10 there that you will easily find something you want, and get it for free!

8. Clothing exchange

This one is different from all the previous options, as it is not a website but an event you can organize yourself. Invite your girlfriend over, tell them to bring the clothes that do not fit them right, but are in good condition. So easy, and you might end the evening with a bunch of new clothes you love!
