7 Folding Clothes Techniques to Help Better Organize Your Wardrobe

Let’s get into some folding clothes techniques. I suggest folding everything on a tabletop or the foot or side of your bed to make folding go quickly, so you won’t be getting up and down to grab items. Also, you will save your back some pain.

How to fold a cami

Fold the cami down from the bottom of the arm holes. The straps will be facing the hem.

Fold the cami into thirds.

The bottom layer of the cami will become the top layer in the next step.

Fold the bottom upwards 2 inches.

Fold the top layer over all the other layers.

Roll tightly all the way down.

Fold underwear in half lengthwise.

Fold the crotch area upwards.

How to fold a sweater

Fold sleeves down at shoulder seam.

Fold the sweater in along the edge of the sleeve.

Fold the other side the same way.

Fold up one-fourth or one-third (depending on the size of the sweater and the depth of the drawer).

Roll and compress.
