Life gets busy, and no one wants to get bogged down by having the world’s longest to-do list once you get home. To remedy this problem, Mia Danielle put 15 systems into place to simplify life and eliminate those never-ending chores. And today, she’s showing you how it’s done.

Discovering how to simplify life and get rid of stuff for good takes time for most people. It’s usually not an overnight success. But with Mia Danielle’s 15 systems, anyone can learn how to simplify life and be happy with the results.

To get started, she recommends setting reminders and timers for everything. From your kid’s next orthodontist appointment to how many minutes dinner has left in the oven, using technology works in your favor and allows others in your home to pitch in.

Other ways to simplify your life, according to Mia Danielle, include using an email folder system, having a five-minute rule—where any task that takes five minutes or less has to be done now—and batching everything, like planning out your year or getting all of your laundry done at once.

Still not sure how to simplify your life? Mia Danielle says to schedule time for tasks you need to get done. She also suggests placing a shoe rack near each door, buying a robo vacuum and setting a timer so it runs at the best time of day for you, and downloading the Greenlight app for chores and allowance.

Other techniques for simplifying life that her family uses regularly include dividing meal duty, keeping Pinterest meal boards, creating their grocery list on Alexa, and ordering Amazon Fresh deliveries as needed. Having all of these systems in place is quite convenient and a time saver.

Lastly, to simplify life even more, Mia Danielle and her husband have massage exchanges, use Google Sheets for budgeting, and establishing parental guidance rules they’re comfortable with.
