3 Viral Crockpot Chicken Recipes

Do you trust TikTok with your dinners?

Today, I am testing viral three crockpot chicken recipes I found on TikTok, in order to find out if they are really as good as they are supposed to be. Let’s give these crockpot chicken recipes a try!

Garlic parm chicken and potatoes

Garlic parm chicken and potatoes

For this recipe all that it said we needed was potatoes, chicken, Parmesan garlic wing sauce, mozzarella cheese, and a few basic seasonings.

1. Dice six red potatoes into medium size cubes, leaving the skins on, and then wash them.

2. Cut up two chicken breasts, in cubes of similar size.

3. Throw your washed and cubed potatoes into your crockpot, throw in some salt and pepper, garlic powder, ground paprika, and onion powder or alternatively minced onion.

4. Add in your diced chicken, along with half of the bottle of Parmesan garlic wing sauce. Stir it all together.

5. Cook on high for four hours or on low for eight.

6. Once the time is up, add in the rest of the sauce, stir, and sprinkle with mozzarella on top.

7. Put the lid on and let it sit for about 10 minutes for the cheese to melt.

I served it with a side salad, and my family loved it. This one is definitely going on my regular rotation.

Lemon pepper chicken legs with veggies

Lemon pepper chicken legs with veggies

This might be one of the easiest chicken crockpot recipes ever. The viral recipe said that you can make a good crockpot meal out of any protein, any two vegetables and any seasoning, so this is my version of the recipe. We are going to be using cauliflower, a pound of carrots, and my favorite lemon pepper wing sauce.

1. Put the carrots into the slow cooker, and lay the chicken legs on top of them.

2. Season with garlic powder, a little adobo, salt and pepper – nothing fancy, because we want to mainly taste the lemon pepper.

3. Pour the lemon pepper sauce in, and set the slow cooker for four hours on high.

4. Two hours in, remove the chicken legs, add in the cauliflower and a bit more lemon pepper sauce, then return the chicken legs into the crockpot, putting it on top.

We are only adding the cauliflower at this stage because root vegetables and meat have longer cooking times, and cauliflower would get mushy if we added it in from the beginning. Cook for two more hours.

5. Once you take it all out, the chicken might not look too pretty, even though it is ready. Move those chicken legs onto a baking sheet, brush some more lemon pepper sauce on them, and broil them for five minutes to make that skin crispy. Then take them out and flip them over to the other side and do the same thing.

6. Serve and enjoy!

The veggies come out super tender, cooked in chicken fat and broth. I put the legs on top so the juices could drizzle down onto the vegetables, making them extra flavorful.

Chicken pasta

Chicken pasta

For this viral TikTok recipe in the crockpot, you are going be needing some pasta, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, your favorite Alfredo sauce, and some chicken – it can even be frozen.

1. Put the chicken into your crockpot. You can use any amount of chicken you want for this. If you are using frozen chicken, keep in mind it is going to shrink once filled with water.

2. Pour a generous amount of Alfredo sauce on top, and then marinara.

3. Cook on high for four hours.

4. Shred the chicken – it will be almost falling apart on its own.

5. Boil your pasta, and pour it into the sauce with the chicken. Mix well, and add some more salt to taste.

6. Top with mozzarella cheese, and put the lid on for about five minutes so the cheese can melt.

I served the pasta with a salad and garlic bread. This made a whole lot of food, so we are definitely going to have leftovers.

These sound good. Another easy one is Russian Apricot Chicken. Recipe says add apricot jam. But I always add some apricots as well. Served with rice and veggie salad. Pretty darn easy!
