Have you ever dreamed of making your own home-baked pizza? If so, then this is the tiny house for you. High school sweethearts Bob and Rebekah brought all of their artistic whimsy to design this DIY-build tiny house. Rebekah sketched the drawings with the design and Bob made them a reality.

They love living simply, which allows the couple to travel, volunteer, and do things together. Without the pressure of a mortgage, Bob has cut down his work to three days a week.

The cost to build the tiny house was only $15,000, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at the home’s elegant interior. The European-style tiny house is full of color and warmth. The key decor features are the ceramic tiles, as well as the pizza oven, which is decorated with a handle incorporating a branch from a rosemary bush that means a lot to Rebekah.

The oven is great for cooking and baking, and can cook a pizza in only two minutes. However, a lot of work was needed to make it safe for use in a tiny home. The oven is insulated with layers of ceramic cloth in order to prevent fire hazards.

The DIY tiny house is a labor of love. Many of the elements are made out of reused materials that Rebekah and Bob found and restored in order to make them work as part of the house.

For example, they took old wood and sanded it themselves, and also worked with reused corrugated metal and windows that they framed themselves. In addition to being frugal, this also allowed the couple to unleash their creative sides.

In Rebekah and Bob's video tour of their tiny home, they show that unique touches, such as European-style tiling and a tiny house pizza oven, can transport you to a whole other continent.
